硫化剂有异氰酸酯、过氧化物和硫磺三类:异氰酸酯类硫化剂的常用品种为TDI及其二聚体、MDI二聚体和PAPI等,可生成脲基甲酸酯键交联键(易吸水,使用时注意环境湿度),可以制得耐磨性良好、强度高、硬度较大的制品;过氧化二异丙苯(DCP)是用得最普遍的过氧化物硫化剂,过氧化物硫化PUE制品具有良好的动态性能,压缩永久变形小,弹性和耐老化性能均较好,缺点是不能用蒸汽直接硫化,撕裂强度较差;含有不饱和链段的PUE可采用硫磺体系硫化,用量一般为1.5~2份,促进剂M和DM最常用,一般在6份左右,硫化制品综合性能较好。
